Soaring gas prices hurt businesses in New Brunswick

CBC News -- Gasoline prices have hit a three-year high in New Brunswick and that is causing some New Brunswick businesses to look at passing those costs along to their customers.

The escalating pump prices come as global oil prices are also continuing to soar.

And as long as the Federal government gets 5% of every dollar spent at the pump (plus all the hidden taxes) they will not do anything about it.

To add insult to injury, Canada exports oil and has pump prices as high or higher than the U.S. What drives pump price upward in Canada...refineries, speculators and government taxes.

If this isn't a narrow minded view. Everyone is hurting everyone everywhere and businesses all over the country have already been passing the high costs on to consumers, who are hit twice. At the pumps and in shopping for whatever.
